I was visiting with a family friend today, and as we talked I remembered some funny things Darrin has said recently. These were the type of little quips that, when you hear them, you say, "Oh, I need to write that down!" So here they are, in writing, to make you chuckle...and perhaps offer some embarrassment for my son one day!
The other night Josh and Darrin were playing together and Darrin stuck his hand down the neck of Josh's shirt and felt his chest. "Daddy! You have a teddy bear in there!"
He did the same with me one day..."Mommy has a pee-pee!" I don't even know if I should comment further on that one...except to add that I reminded him those were Mommy's mooies (family terminology...don't ask!). Later he felt down Josh's shirt and when we asked him what he was doing he said, "I looking for Daddy's mooies."
One night Josh was giving Dman a bath. He said that Darrin grabbed himself and then started to get upset. "Oh no!" he wailed. When Josh asked what was wrong Darrin replied, "My pee-pee is broken! It has a crack in it! Daddy, we need to fix it!" Oh my...
